Welcome to Apart. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Apart.

1. Who can use Apart

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Apart is a community for adults exploring non-traditional relationships. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate any account that misrepresents the user's age or identity, or that violates our Community Guidelines.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for what you post and for keeping your password safe.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone.
• You must use real photos of yourself for your profile photo and verification.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, dox, or solicit any other member.
• Post sexually explicit content, minors, nudity, hate speech, or anything illegal.
• Use Apart for commercial solicitation, sex work, recruitment, or scams.
• Scrape, copy, or republish member profiles or messages.
• Try to bypass safety features (blocks, reports, verification, rate limits).

4. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Apart a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display your content within the service so we can run the product. You can remove your content at any time by editing or deleting your profile.

5. Verification

Apart requires photo verification. We compare a fresh selfie with your profile photo to confirm a real, live person. Verification selfies are stored privately and never shown to other members.

6. Off-platform meetings

Anything that happens in person or off Apart is between you and the other person. Read our Safety page before meeting anyone in real life. Apart does not conduct background checks.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We can suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice if needed to protect the community.

8. Disclaimers

Apart is provided "as is" without warranties. We don't guarantee matches, messages, relationships, or outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apart is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we'll notify you through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
