Community Guidelines

Apart only works because the community is honest, kind, and curious. These guidelines aren't a checklist — they're how we treat each other.

Be real

• Use your own recent photos. No stock images, no friends, no filters that change your face.
• Verify your photo. Verified profiles get visibility; unverified ones don't.
• Be honest about your shape, your age, and what you're looking for.

Be kind

• Lead with curiosity. Ask, don't assume.
• Rejection happens. "No thanks" is a complete sentence — and an acceptable answer.
• If someone tells you to stop messaging them, stop messaging them.

Don't do this

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or slurs of any kind.
• Sexually explicit content, nudity, or unsolicited sexual messages.
• Anything involving minors. Ever.
• Sex work, escort solicitation, or commercial promotion.
• Asking for money, crypto, or gift cards. This is always a scam.
• Sharing someone else's photos, messages, or personal info outside Apart.

Non-traditional ≠ no rules

Apart welcomes every relationship shape — LAT, solo poly, chosen family, cohabiting unmarried, and more. That openness only works when everyone is upfront about what they actually want. Don't pretend to want a shape you don't, and don't try to "convert" anyone.

If you see something

Tap the menu on any profile or message to block or report. We review every report. Repeated or serious violations get accounts removed, sometimes permanently.
