Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights you have. We try to keep it short and human.

What we collect

• Account info: email address and password (hashed).
• Profile info: name, age, location, relationship shape, bio, prompt answers, photos. You choose what to share.
• Verification selfie: stored privately, used only to confirm your identity. Never shown to other members.
• Activity: matches, likes, messages, blocks/reports — needed to operate the service.
• Device & log data: basic technical info (IP, browser, timestamps) for security and fraud prevention.

How we use it

• To run the matching, messaging, and verification features.
• To keep the community safe (block enforcement, report review).
• To send essential service emails.
• To improve the product in aggregate (we look at trends, not individuals).

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your messages with third parties for advertising.
• We don't make sensitive data (sexuality, relationship style) available to ad networks.

Who can see your profile

Once you're verified, your profile is visible to other signed-in members on Discover. Your verification selfie is never shown.

Service providers

We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the service (database, storage, AI verification). They process data only on our instructions.

Your rights

• Access, edit, or delete your profile at any time from your dashboard.
• Delete your account — we remove your profile and content within 30 days.
• Email hello@apartasone.com for any data request.

Children

Apart is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.
